Boris Brezovac, principal

Orchestra member since 1993
I am proud of the Belgrade Philharmonic String Quartet.
I am an enthusiast for winter sunshine and summer storms.
The violist Boris Brezovac studied in Zagreb with Stefan Pasadj and in Belgrade with Dejan Mladjenovic, where he graduated. He undertook professional development in Mannheim with Hideko Kobayashi and in Hannover with Christian Paul. As a solo performer and chamber musician he performed across Europe as part of ensembles such as Camerata Academica Novi Sad, the quartets Hannover and Belotti, the Balkan Chamber Academy, the London Chamber Group, the THC String Quintet, Camerata Salzburg and the Haimos Music Society.
He was a member of the RTS Symphony Orchestra and the NDR Orchestra in Hannover. He is member of Belgrade Philharmonic since 1993 and holds the position of the principal violist since 2005.
