The Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra announces an AUDITION for DOUBLE BASS TUTTI.

We are looking for a talented orchestral musician who wishes to build a career in a dynamic and professional environment, in the position of Double Bass Tutti (1 position, permanent employment).

What we require

– University degree in Music, majoring in Double Bass
– A high level of performing technique
– Knowledge of one foreign language

First movement of a Romantic concerto, of the candidate’s choice:
– Serge Koussevitzky — Double Bass Concerto
– Giovanni Bottesini — Double Bass Concerto

Orchestral excerpts
– Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart — Symphony No. 40 in G minor, 1st movement
– Felix Mendelssohn — Symphony No. 4 in A major, Op. 90 (“Italian”), 1st movement
– Richard Strauss — Ein Heldenleben, Op. 40
