How has the history of music evolved? What were the turning points and milestones that profoundly shook the world of classical music? In our new 2025-26 season titled Crescendo, the Belgrade Philharmonic presents some of the most defining moments in music history.

At the heart of the season are compositions that served as breakouts in terms of both style and genre – works that charted new, previously unimaginable paths in musical creation, sparking historic surges of innovation and expression. Alongside these transformative historical crescendos, the program also features standard concert and symphonic repertoire, reimagined through fresh concepts, surprising juxtapositions, and premiere performances.
