As part of the PRO PR conference held in Belgrade from March 15th to 17th, 2024, the prestigious PRO PR Globe Awards were presented for communications. The Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra’s very own Communications Manager Jelena Milasinovic was among the winners from Serbia. Jelena has a been awarded for her contribution and selfless dedication to the development of the public relations profession.

Besides Jelena, other recipients of this international award from Serbia were Milena Avramovic Bjelica, Executive Director and Co-founder of Chapter 4, Suzana Milicic, owner of Kontakt PR, and Andrea Brbaklic, Director of FromA Consulting Ltd. The Vision City Award was presented to the municipality of Golubac, the Vision Manager Award was presented to Sasa Popovic, Director and Co-founder of VEGA IT, the Infigo Awards were presented to Nenad Danilovic, founder and editor-in-chief of the portal advertiser-serbia.com, while the Transparency in Communication Award was presented to the National Academy for Public Administration.

Candidates for the awards are nominated by former recipients, as well as members of four global communication associations: the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA), the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), the International Consultancy Organisation (ICCO), and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) 2023 winners.

PRO PR GLOBE Awards is an individual award program, recognizing individuals who contribute to a better perception and promotion of the public relations profession globally, regionally, and locally, with a focus on individuals rather than projects. In addition to laureates from the region, professionals from the United States, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Iran, Spain, Romania, Hungary, Italy, and Ukraine were also honored.

Jelena Milasinovic has been the PR Manager of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra since 2013. As the institution’s spokesperson, she manages all communications of the organization, devises and implements communication strategies, development projects of social responsibility, and brand promotion for the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra. She is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades bestowed by the Public Relations Society of Serbia, the Serbian Association for Market Communications, and Marketing Network. She has also participated in numerous professional events in the field of communications, creative industries, marketing, and socially responsible operations.
