Snježana Pavićević, the Belgrade Philharmonic’s flautist, is organizing a Piccolo Weekend at the Philharmonic, a master class for the piccolo flute, on April 4-5, 2020. All flute students from Serbia and the region are invited, as well as young professionals who want to become more familiar with the piccolo flute, as well as improve their skills or keep up with world trends. The master class will be held at the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall, Studentski trg 11. Admission is free.

In addition to active participants, passive participants are also invited to attend the Piccolo Weekend master class. Of course, the public is welcome to enjoy our free piccolo concert at the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall on Saturday, April 4, at 7:00 p.m.

Snježana Pavićević has been a permanent member of the Belgrade Philharmonic since 2002 as solo piccolo flautist. She recently completed her Masters studies in piccolo flute at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan with Professor Nicola Mazzanti. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in flute at the Belgrade Faculty of Music in the class of Professor Miodrag Azanjac. In addition to her work in the orchestra, she is also active as a soloist in various chamber ensembles.
