From November 1st to November 4th, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra is playing concert for babies, the most popular educational programs, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the BPO’s Hall. Most of the dates are already sold out, and the BPO is planning the next cycle of concerts for spring.
In the fifth season of concerts for youngsters, the orchestra will play some of the most beautiful children’s melodies together with the young conductor Mihajlo Miletic. The musicians of the BPO will thus once again introduce children to the magical world of music and the sound of a large symphony orchestra at half-hour concerts. It has become very traditional to see the entrance of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra turning into a parking lot for strollers and the concert hall into a music playroom so that babies can enjoy music as freely as possible. The orchestra is already used to cooing and gurgling ovations, as well as the little ones with soloist or conducting ambitions, who climb up on stage to the musicians and, on many occasions, get to untie their shoelaces.
In the 2022/23 season, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra is giving much attention to programs for young ones. In addition to concerts for babies, children of kindergarten age and primary school students, the Orchestra will also host concerts for teenagers soon.
