Four Hungarian horn players, János Benyus, István Flammer, Bence Mészáros and Máté Hamar, are exceptional examples of a very successful tradition of brass instruments school. They are graduates of the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest (Benyus, Mészáros and Hamar) and of the Debrecen Faculty of Music (Flammer). The four musicians have won many Hungarian and international solo horn and chamber music competitions, and have gained professional experience through engagements in many renowned symphony and opera orchestras in Hungary. In addition to orchestral performance, they are also committed chamber music artists as members of various ensembles.
János Benyus, István Flammer and Máté Hamar are currently members of the Hungarian State Opera Orchestra, whereas Bence Mészáros plays at the Hungarian Radio Orchestra Budapest.
