Former harpist of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Xavier de Maistre greatly contributed to enlargement of the contemporary repertoire with new pieces and used his status of a soloist in high demand around the world to put this unjustly neglected instrument on a pedestal. Besides introducing de Maistre, Fabrice Bollon will also present an unusual selection of pieces, starting with his own Waiting for the Plane, written while actually doing that on his way to Belgrade.
