Naturally Belgrade will start the season of virtual concert trips around the world. Commission of the Belgrade Philharmonic to Aleksandar Sedlar for this occasion are variations on the theme of the Belgrade anthem by Mihovil Logar. It is followed by the Serbian premiere of the concerto for clarinet and orchestra Flute and Flamingos by Isidora Žebeljan, featuring Joan Enrique Lluna, a winner of the Jeunesses Musicales competition in Belgrade. The second part of the program is Symphony No. 5 by P. I. Tchaikovsky – the symphonic work most frequently performed by the Belgrade Philharmonic through its hundred-year history.
