The Belgrade Philharmonic continues to socialize with our youngest citizens; this time with children of preschool age, for whom we are organizing concerts in the Belgrade Philharmonic’s Music Hall, from October 10-19, weekdays at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. The orchestra will perform the “Carnival of Animals” by Camille Saint-Saëns, featuring orchestra members Tamara and Slavica as narrators, who will be taking the kids on a trip through the animal world with poems by children’s poets as well as children themselves.

The Philharmonic will reveal the beauty and magnificence of the animal kingdom through music, with two pianos joining the orchestra, bringing to life the humorous musical suite by Saint-Saëns, “The Carnival of the Animals.” From roosters to turtles, dinosaurs and kangaroos, the kids will enjoy this popular and much-loved animal safari.

In addition to fostering generations of new audiences, the Belgrade Philharmonic gives a chance to young artists. Immediately after presenting himself successfully at the Conductor’s Forum – a master class for young conductors recently held at the Belgrade Philharmonic – the young Felix Mildenberger has been given the opportunity to conduct the orchestra. Also, Vuk Božilović and Dušan Grozdanović, young graduates and already accomplished pianists, will perform together with the orchestra at all 16 concerts.
