The four primary elements that explain the structure of nature exist in various forms and are mutually dependent in every particle of matter. When they are in harmony, they bring the fifth element into existence.

This philosophical concept has inspired many scientists, who have attached it to various contexts throughout the history of mankind. It was also frequently in the focus of attention of artists, while the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra has provided yet another interpretation of it in its season 2017/18, through the musical ideas of the Chief Conductor Gabriel Feltz.
