The Belgrade Philharmonic continues to spend time with children, familiarizing them with the orchestra online, on our Facebook page, on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. After presenting the family of string instruments and a number of woodwind instruments, this Wednesday the focus will be on the oboe, the English horn, and the bassoon.

Our oboist Aleksandra Dobrić will introduce us to the sound of not only the oboe, but also its “cousin” the English horn. Nenad Janković will show us all the parts of the bassoon and what can be played on this instrument. The bassoon also has a “grandfather,” the contrabassoon. Kids, join us on this popular program, which is getting more and more views, and find out whether our hosts Tamara Marinković Tomić and Slavica Perić will manage to wake him up.

Next Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., our fun guide through the philharmonic orchestra will continue. Together with their parents, teachers, grandmothers, and grandfathers, the children will meet the family of brass wind instruments.
