New Year’s Concert 1
The ballroom dance, which brought close embrace of the dancing couple and hence shocked polite society, eventually became one of the symbols of Vienna and the trademark of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. On this occasion, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra will present its preference of waltzes – from symphonic, through Bernstein’s and Gould’s, to film music. Expect everything but Johann Strauss and son!
