Slađan Cvejić

Slađan Cvejić was born in Kruševac in 1993. He started studying music at the age of five when he played the pipe, learning from his father and continuing the family tradition. At the age of eight he enrolled into the Brus Music School, where he played the accordion, but only a year later he switched to violin at the Ćuprija School for Music Talents, where he attended lower and secondary music classes and graduated as an A average student and recipient of the Vuk Karadžić Diploma. In addition to the violin at the age of 13, he started playing double bass. He also graduated lower-level double bass classes at the Ćuprija School for Music Talents and higher-level classes at the Mokranjac Music School in Belgrade. He completed his master studies in solo violin at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade and completed his double bass studies at the FILUM in Kragujevac in the class of Prof. Srđan Stošić. He has performed in various orchestras, both on violin and on double bass
