The Belgrade Philharmonic was honored for outstanding achievements in the field of communications at the PRO PR Roma Forum, held in Rome on January 2728. The award was presented to Jelena Milašinović, the institutions long-standing PR Manager. The Belgrade Philharmonic received the prestigious Worlds Best of the Best title in recognition of its excellence, consistency, transparent communication, innovation, continuous development, strategic approach, and commitment to sustainability. Alongside the Belgrade Philharmonic, this distinguished recognition was also awarded to the Prado Museum, the British Museum, and the Grand Egyptian Museum.

Receiving this important award in Rome, the Eternal City that connects civilizations, carries special significance, said Jelena Milašinović in her address at the award ceremony. It shows that the success of a philharmonic orchestra, coming from Belgrade, from Serbia, has reached far beyond its borders. And yet, at the very same moment, back in Belgrade, the employees of this institution are fighting for their legitimate rights while decision-makers fail to listen. Communication is not merely a tool; it is a responsibility. I therefore hope that the voice of this orchestra, which has reached Rome, will resonate just as strongly at home. This award belongs to all employees of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra – a great institution that thinks big, works with dedication, and creates excellence.

The award citation emphasizes that the Belgrade Philharmonic sets new directions and establishes new standards within its field. For this reason, it was granted the Worlds Best of the Best 2025 certificate, recognizing that through its ideas and projects, together with its entire team, the Belgrade Philharmonic inspires the global professional community.

As part of the PRO PR Roma Forum, the Belgrade Philharmonic was also granted the right to use the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals logo, in recognition of its use of music as a tool for education, inspiration, and community building. Due to these efforts and the contributions it provides through educational programs, cultural access for all, inclusion and creativity strenghtening, the Belgrade Philharmonic received this right from United Nations representative Jim McQueeney with support from Jacqueline Purcell, UN contact based in London.
