The greatest friend of the Belgrade Philharmonic, Maestro Zubin Mehta will once again visit Belgrade this autumn and hold a concert with our orchestra on October 27th.

“I am a very loyal person. Once a man becomes my friend, I will stay by his side always. Same goes for orchestras”, shared the great Maestro in his autobiography The Score of My Life. So the unique relationship between Mehta and the Belgrade Philharmonic is measured not in years, but in decades – ever since 1958, when he conducted our orchestra for the first time as a young man.

The famous conductor will perform together with one of classical music’s most celebrated personalities, as well as his long-time collaborators and friends: famous violinist Pinchas Zukerman and cellist Amanda Forsyth.
