For admirers of musical adventure, Resident Conductor Vladimir Kulenović will mark the 40^th anniversary of the death of Benjamin Britten by conducting pieces of the composer himself, Arvo Pärt and Gustav Mahler. In doing so, he will be assisted by the Belgrade Philharmonic percussion duo, performing Japanese composer Keiko Abe’s engaging Prism Rhapsody for two marimbas and orchestra.
