The Belgrade Philharmonic is ready for the second half of its concert season, which will continue at Kolarac Hall on Friday, January 14, at 8:00 p.m. The Belgrade Philharmonic is proud to present the Spanish conductor Jaume Santonja and star pianist Andrei Korobeinikov. The concert program will feature the music of Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich, and Sibelius.<\/p>\n

After the holiday break, during which we organized activities such as the popular New Year’s challenge with an invitation to play music at home and the YouTube premiere of our children’s program, the Belgrade Philharmonic will be continuing its season with a concert at Kolarac Hall on Friday night. A fresh start is reserved for the presentation of new stars such as the young and promising conductor Jaume Santonja, a former percussionist, today a much sought-after conductor. Together with the Belgrade Philharmonic he will perform a repertoire that opens with The<\/em> Isle of the Dead<\/em> by Sergei Rachmaninov and closes with Symphony No. 1<\/em> by Jean Sibelius.<\/p>\n

The central place in the evening program will feature Andrej Korobeinikov, a pianist with a brilliant career, one of the leading artists of today, known for his unusual interpretations. He will show his unique piano skills and technical genius in the cheerful Concerto No. 2 for Piano and Orchestra<\/em> by Dmitri Shostakovich. A pianist with an impressive biography and wide interests, he collaborates regularly with the biggest conducting names and major world orchestras, including the Belgrade Philharmonic.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the concert are on sale at the Belgrade Philharmonic Ticket-Office as well as online. From now on, concert tickets will also be available for concerts on a monthly basis<\/a> and can be purchased as of each last Monday of the month for the next month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
