{"id":73718,"date":"2020-11-12T20:53:27","date_gmt":"2020-11-12T19:53:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bgf.rs\/?p=73718"},"modified":"2020-11-13T11:09:17","modified_gmt":"2020-11-13T10:09:17","slug":"belgrade-philharmonic-closes-52nd-bemus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bgf.rs\/en\/belgrade-philharmonic-closes-52nd-bemus\/","title":{"rendered":"Belgrade Philharmonic Closes 52nd BEMUS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Belgrade Philharmonic and renowned Austrian conductor Hans Graf will be performing works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart at the gala closing ceremony of the 52nd Belgrade Music Festival (BEMUS) at Kolarac Hall, on Friday, November 13, at 8:00 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In line with the rules on limiting the number of musicians on stage, the Belgrade Philharmonic will be playing a refined program of select compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, opening with the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Marriage of Figaro Overture<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, followed by two symphonies: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No. 29 in A Major, K 201<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No. 38 in D Major, K 504<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, popularly known as the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prague Symphony<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Belgrade Philharmonic is very pleased to perform once again with Hans Graf, a dear and regular guest of our concert seasons. Maestro Graf is honorary conductor and former music director of the Houston Symphony Orchestra. He was also music director of the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, the Basque National Orchestra, the Calgary Philharmonic, and the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hans Graf conducted the world&#8217;s leading orchestras, including the most renowned orchestras in the United States (Cleveland, New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Dallas, Detroit, etc.) with an especially long and close relationship with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Europe, Hans Graf has conducted the Vienna Philharmonic, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Budapest Festival Orchestra, the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the German Symphony Orchestra in Berlin, the London Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the German Symphony Orchestra in Halle, and many others.
