Under the baton of Daniel Raiskin, the audience will enjoy an unusual selection of works by composers from Northern Europe, culminating with Stravinsky\u2019s famous Petrushka.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nFr\u00f6st will play Danish composer Carl Nielsen\u2019s Concerto for clarinet and orchestra, as well as a special treat \u2013 Peacock Tales by Swedish composer Anders Hillborg. According to Fr\u00f6st\u2019s idea, besides the attractive music, the interpretation of this piece also includes a special acting performance, which is his trademark.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe acclaimed clarinetist is the recipient of the 2014 L\u00e9onie Sonning Music Prize, one of the world\u2019s highest musical honours.\u00a0He appears with the world\u2019s leading conductors and orchestras worldwide, but he is also famous for transcending the boundaries of the world of classical music. His performances include dancing, light effects, costumes and acting, which is why he is also known as \u201cMichael Jackson of the clarinet\u201d (De Volkskrant).<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra\u2019s concert for Adventurers will be opened by the symphonic elegy Island by Latvian composer Peteris Vasks, and concluded with Igor Stravinsky\u2019s well known Petrushka,\u00a0the bizarre story about unrequited love of three puppets.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe popular concert series that includes the most unusual adventures will be closed by conductor Gabriel Feltz and the soundtrack music from the films about the secret agent James Bond, on 27 May at Kolarac.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the world\u2019s best clarinetists, Martin Fr\u00f6st will make his debut with the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra in a genuine musical adventure on Friday, 15 April (Kolarac, 8pm).
