{"id":28949,"date":"2020-02-06T15:59:17","date_gmt":"2020-02-06T14:59:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bgf.rs\/?p=28949"},"modified":"2020-02-06T16:01:53","modified_gmt":"2020-02-06T15:01:53","slug":"a-journey-into-baroque","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bgf.rs\/en\/a-journey-into-baroque\/","title":{"rendered":"A Journey Into Baroque"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>An Evening of Baroque at the Belgrade Philharmonic<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Belgrade Philharmonic will take an unusual step into the Baroque era at Kolarac Hall on Friday, February 7, at 8:00 p.m. &#8222;Baroque Master,&#8220; violinist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bgf.rs\/en\/solista_cp\/bernhard-forck\/\">Bernhard Forck<\/a>, will appear in two roles &#8211; conducting the orchestra and playing Bach, Vivaldi, Rebel, and Scarlatti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Belgrade Philharmonic&#8217;s concert will\nnot only sound different, but it will also look different, with far fewer\nmusicians on stage than usual. Bernhard Forck will be concertmaster and he will\nalso conduct an orchestra consisting of 29 musicians. This outstanding Baroque specialist,\na member of the Berlin Academy of Ancient Music, is passionately interested in\nhistorical musical performance. He has brought some Baroque bows to be used by\nthe orchestra to make the journey to this distant era even more compelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This concert is part of our #beethovenontimeline\nseries, dedicated to the historical and social circumstances that affected Beethoven&#8217;s\nlife and completely reflects the Baroque repertoire.
