The concert will feature\nmore than 180 musicians on the stage &#8211; The Philharmonic, enhanced by the\n&#8222;Branko Krsmanovi\u0107&#8220; Academic Society&#8217;s Obili\u0107 Choir and vocals Lavinia\nDames and Tanja Baumgartner, will perform Mahler&#8217;s masterpiece, &#8222;Resurrection.&#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this symphony, Mahler wanted to\nunite life and death, describing the last moments of a human life with the\npower of music. With this colossal masterpiece, the composer ventured for the\nfirst time to introduce the human voice into a symphony &#8211; featuring a choir and\ntwo female vocals: Tanja Baumgartner, one of today&#8217;s leading mezzo-sopranos,\nand soprano Lavinia Dames, a permanent member of the ensemble of the German Opera\non the Rhine in D\u00fcsseldorf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The end of the Belgrade Philharmonic&#8217;s\nconcert season will be impressive not only to hear, but also to watch. The\norchestra will be the largest ever, and especially for this occasion it will be\njoined by colleagues from Slovenia, Croatia and Montenegro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One hundred standing\ntickets will be on sale at the Kolarac Box Office from 7:00 p.m., one hour\nbefore the concert.
