The program includes works by Dediu,\u00a0<em>Dvo\u0159\u00e1k,<\/em>and Shostakovich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A longtime associate, who recently held his 30th concert with the Belgrade Philharmonic, this time Maestro Mandeal will present a fantastic orchestra of young professionals, which he has been leading since it was founded in 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The orchestra is made up of 90 members, ages between 18 and 28, selected from among the best on the national level. It is said to be the jewel of Romanian musical life; critics have dubbed it the &#8222;guide star of European youth orchestras, which, in the meantime, has become one of Romania&#8217;s best orchestra ensembles.&#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of their Balkans tour, the Romanian National Youth Orchestra will also perform at Belgrade&#8217;s Kolarac Hall. First, they will perform the world premiere of the piece &#8222;Levante&#8220; by Dan Dediu, then \u0218tefan Cazacu, the winner of numerous national and international competitions, will perform\u00a0<em>Dvo\u0159\u00e1k&#8217;s<\/em>Cello Concerto, and finally they will play Shostakovich&#8217;s Symphony No. 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Free tickets for the concert, organized with the support of the Belgrade Philharmonic and the Romanian Cultural Center, will be available at the Kolarac Box Office on Monday, May 13.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Legendary conductor Cristian Mandeal will hold a concert with the Romanian National Youth Orchestra at Kolarac Hall, on Wednesday, May 15, at 8:00 p.m. featuring young\u00a0\u0218tefan Cazacu on cello.
