Under the name of Schubertiade, the musicians will play a selection of\nworks for flute, piano, as well as piano for four hands, by Franz Schubert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two pianists\nfrequently perform as the Borota-Knebel duo, which they founded in 1990 at the\nMusic Academy in Trossingen. Ljiljana Borota, originally from Belgrade, and\nChristian Knebel, a native of Stuttgart, discovered their shared affinity for\nplaying with four hands during their piano studies. The development of this duo\nwas enabled and enriched by working with many prominent musicians and pedagogues,\nincluding Stana Krstaji\u0107, the Belgrade Philharmonic&#8217;s principal flutist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Variations\non the original theme with introduction in B-major (1818). Op. posth. 82, No. 2\n(D698A) for four-hand piano<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Songs for\nflute and piano (1870), arrangement by Theobald Rhoem (1794-1881)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8222;Good\nNight&#8220; and &#8222;The Linden Tree&#8220; (from &#8222;Winter Journey&#8220;)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Arpeggione<\/em> Sonata A-minor\nfor flute and piano<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Allegro<\/em> in A-minor\nfour-hand duo &#8222;Storms of Life&#8220; (1828) D. 947, Op.144<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Flutist Stana Krstaji\u0107 will hold a concert at the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall, together with pianists Ljiljana Borota and Kristijan Knebel, on Monday, April 15 at 8 pm.
