{"id":23858,"date":"2019-03-06T21:17:03","date_gmt":"2019-03-06T20:17:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bgf.rs\/?p=23858"},"modified":"2019-03-07T09:30:12","modified_gmt":"2019-03-07T08:30:12","slug":"philharmonic-in-the-rhythm-of-the-can-can","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bgf.rs\/en\/philharmonic-in-the-rhythm-of-the-can-can\/","title":{"rendered":"Philharmonic in the Rhythm of the Can-Can"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Italian\nviolin star Anna Tifu, will perform with the Belgrade Philharmonic in Kolarac\nHall, two nights in a row, on Thursday and Friday, March 7 and 8, at 8 p.m.\nUnder Principal Guest Conductor Daniel Raiskin, the orchestra will perform a\npassionate and exotic repertoire &#8211; from the exciting story of Sheherazade to the can-can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Belgrade\nPhilharmonic presents to the domestic public one of the leading violinists of\nthe younger generation, with whom the orchestra performed in Oman at the end of\n2015. Anna Tifu, an international star, especially adored in her native Italy,\nis the face of Alitalia Airlines, along with conductor Ricardo Mutti, film\ndirector Giuseppe Tornatore, and dancer Eleonora Abbagnato. The\nPhilharmonic audience will see two completely different sides &#8211; the lyrical in E.\nChausson&#8217;s <em>Po\u00e8me<\/em>, and Sarasate&#8217;s dazzling and breathtaking <em>Gypsy Airs<\/em>, played on a 1716 Stradivari violin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On both\nevenings the audience will enjoy one of the most charming repertoires in the Belgrade\nPhilharmonic&#8217;s season, focusing on Love &#8222;French-style.&#8220; The exciting\nstory of Sheherazade was a magnet for many composers, including Ravel, who was\nobsessed with Arabian exoticism from which arose the Sh\u00e9h\u00e9razade overture. The &#8222;reveling&#8220; style of F.
