{"id":20748,"date":"2018-12-06T18:13:43","date_gmt":"2018-12-06T17:13:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bgf.rs\/?p=20748\/"},"modified":"2018-12-06T18:17:09","modified_gmt":"2018-12-06T17:17:09","slug":"renowned-violinist-barnabas-kelemen-plays-two-nights-with-the-belgrade-philharmonic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bgf.rs\/en\/renowned-violinist-barnabas-kelemen-plays-two-nights-with-the-belgrade-philharmonic\/","title":{"rendered":"Renowned Violinist Barnab\u00e1s Kelemen Plays Two Nights with the Belgrade Philharmonic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>World famous violinist <em>Barnab\u00e1s<\/em> Kelemen will appear with the Belgrade Philharmonic and Chief Conductor Gabriel Feltz on two consecutive nights, at Kolarac Hall, on 6 and 7 December at 8:00 p.m. He will perform the intricate Violin Concerto No. 3 by Camille\u00a0<em>Saint<\/em><strong>&#8211;<\/strong><em>Sa\u00ebns.<\/em> The program will also feature works by Ludwig Van Beethoven and Leo\u0161\u00a0Jan\u00e1\u010dek.<\/p>\n<p>Barnab\u00e1s Kelemen, an artist of intrinsic musicality and technique possessed only by the greatest masters, has performed in the world&#8217;s major concert halls, such as Carnegie Hall, the Royal Festival Hall, Concertgebouw, Suntory Hall, BOZAR and the Berlin Philharmonic. The Belgrade audience will have two opportunities to hear this master violinist and his music, played on the 1742 \u201cEx-D\u00e9nes Kov\u00e1cs\u201d Guarneri violin on loan from the Hungarian Government.<\/p>\n<p>On both nights, Chief Conductor Gabriel Feltz will lead the program in the sign of freedom-loving ideas. The program opens with Beethoven&#8217;s <em>Leonore Overture No.3<\/em>, which represents the musical pith of his opera Fidelio, whose plot is based on the hero being released from political imprisonment.<\/p>\n<p>The magnificent fanfares from Jan\u00e1\u010dek&#8217;s Sinfonietta will crown both concert nights. The work was written for the Sokol movement &#8211; a gymnastics organization that celebrated youth, sports, and national pride, which Jan\u00e1\u010dek promoted throughout his entire life.
