Out of seven candidates that applied for the audition, Mr Feltz chose two ladies, Natalija Mi\u0107i\u0107 and Olivera Sekuli\u0107-Barac.<\/p>\n<p>The Conductors\u2019 Forum is special in the way it supports young conductors around the world, offering them a chance to conduct excellent, professional orchestras. The participation in this programme was very important for my career and I feel that it is now my duty, as a teacher, to help others. The Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra has presented itself as a very friendly orchestra, full of support for the candidates that applied to the audition. We were principally looking for a remarkable personality, because fine conductors need to have an attitude and an expression that inspires orchestras and push them forward. Indeed, it was a surprise, but the two ladies turned out to be exactly the kind of candidates we were looking for\u201d, said Feltz.<\/p>\n<p>The Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestras has become a partner of this respectable programme since 2017, through which not only German but also Serbian representatives are given a tremendous opportunity to gain experience that can propel them to the leading positions in the international music scene.
