The program features pieces by Obradovi\u0107, Prokofiev, Ravel, and Rimsky-Korsakov.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra continues to showcase a new generation of artists whose careers are rapidly capturing the attention of the international music scene. Pianist Alim Beisembayev is the current holder of the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BBC\u2019s New Generation Artist<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> title for 2023-25. He rose to international prominence when, with only two days\u2019 notice, he made his <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BBC Proms<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> debut with the London Symphony Orchestra under the direction of John Wilson. Reviewing his performance, The Telegraph wrote: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is no pianist under 30 in the world we would rather hear<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Belgrade Philharmonic audiences will have the opportunity to hear Beisembayev in Prokofiev\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Piano Concerto No. 2<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The first part of the concert is dedicated to the music of this composer, beginning with Aleksandar Obradovi\u0107\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scherzo-Overture<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a work inspired by Sergei Prokofiev\u2019s stylistic world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the second half, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra will transport the audience directly to Spain with the sounds of Ravel and Rimsky-Korsakov. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rapsodie Espagnole<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Spanish Rhapsody) and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Capriccio Espagnol<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will warm the audience under the baton of Julio Garc\u00eda Vico, a rising Spanish conductor.
