The music festival is named after the flutist Filip \u010cavara and it is the result of his friends\u2019 dedication to honour the memory of their prematurely deceased fellow musician.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe Days of Filip will gather both young talents and distinguished artists, who will be giving free concerts at various venues in Ni\u0161 for four nights. In addition to the concert programme, the festival also includes the learning programme, in which the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra\u2019s principal hornist Nikola \u0106iri\u0107, who is also a member of the festival\u2019s organization team, will hold a workshop \u201cNo Stress Musician\u201d for all young musicians, as well as a seminar for French horn players.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n\u201cIt is a great honour for us that the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra has supported the Days of Filip. Besides contributing to the festival\u2019s significance, their participation is also an indicator of how much the orchestra is investing in decentralization and proves that it belongs to everyone, not just to the City of Belgrade\u201d, said Nikola \u0106iri\u0107.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe members of the String Quartet \u2013 Jelena Dragni\u0107, Vladan Lon\u010dar, Boris Brezovac and Aleksandar Latkovi\u0107 will play Despi\u0107\u2019s <em>Homage to Mokranjac<\/em> and Beethoven\u2019s <em>Serioso<\/em> quartet.
