I am shocked about his sudden death and send my sincerest condolences to his family. My thoughts are also with his orchestras, especially the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, which he inspired tremendously. We will all miss him very much,\u201d wrote Mehta.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"546\" data-end=\"856\">Zubin Mehta also expressed his deep regret that he will not be able to hold the concert with the beloved Belgrade Philharmonic scheduled for October 27, 2025. Due to current inability to undertake long-distance travel, Mehta has decided to cancel a number of performances planned for the upcoming period.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"858\" data-end=\"1350\">In the wake of this painful loss and the tragic passing of chief conductor Gabriel Feltz, numerous colleagues have reached out to the Belgrade Philharmonic with words of support and sympathy. Among them are musicians Nemanja Radulovi\u0107, Daniel Raiskin, John Axelrod, Howard Griffiths, Ksenija Sidorova, Bruno Merse, Maja Bogdanovi\u0107, Nemanja Stankovi\u0107, Olga Scheps, Eduardo Aladren, as well as many other musicians, managers, friends, subscribers, and journalists from numerous media outlets.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The renowned conductor Zubin Mehta, a great friend of the Belgrade Philharmonic, expressed his condolences on the premature passing of the orchestra\u2019s chief conductor, Gabriel Feltz. \u201eGabriel Feltz was a wonderful colleague and musician.
