Following the great success of the first Orchestral Academy \u2013 The Philcademy<\/em>, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra will re-launch this project in the period 20 November \u2013 1 December 2017. For the best students and graduates of the musical academies from Serbia and other countries in the region, the Philcademy<\/em> is a unique opportunity to receive professional training under the mentorship of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra musicians, gain experience in orchestral performance and receive the Philcademy attendance certificate.
\n 
\nYoung musicians will actively participate in the work process and the final concert, which will be directed by the regular guest conductor of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra and eminent artist Daniel Raiskin, at the Grand Hall of the Kolarac Foundation. The selected repertoire covers many specific aspects of orchestral performance. Side by side with the BPO musicians, the Philcademy<\/em> trainees will prepare and play Beethoven\u2019s Symphony No. 1 and Bartok\u2019s Concerto for Orchestra.
\n 
\nThe Philcademy<\/em> programme is open for active participation of all interested students and graduates up to 27 years of age. Auditions will be organised on 26\u201328 June 2017 at the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall, according to the schedule which will be announced subsequently. Optionally, instead of being auditioned live, the candidates may submit their recordings of the audition material by 16 June at the latest. The scores will be freely available.

\nPlease fill in the form, which can be downloaded HERE<\/a>, and send it by e-mail to filhademija@bgf.co.rs<\/a>, by 9 June 2017 at the latest, or by post to the address: Beogradska filharmonija, Studentski trg 11, 11000 Belgrade, (the envelope should be marked „Za Filhademiju\u201d).<\/em>

\nUpon the receipt of applications, candidates will be notified in writing about the further process of selection.
\n 
\nRehearsals of separate sections with mentors are scheduled in the period 20\u201323 November, followed by full orchestra rehearsals from 27 to 30 November at the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall. The final concert, under the baton of Daniel Raiskin, will take place on 1 December at 8pm, at the Grand Hall of the Kolarac Foudation.

\nThe participation in the project is open for musicians playing the following instruments:

\n– Violin, viola, violoncello, double bass;
