As one of the orchestra\u2019s most anticipated events, this year\u2019s program promises a delightful journey through the extraordinary selection of closing movements of some of the greatest and the most iconic symphonies in music history.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spanning works from the 18th to the 20th centuries, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra will perform finales from the symphonies of Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, and Mendelssohn, as well as Tchaikovsky, Dvo\u0159\u00e1k, Sibelius, and Shostakovich. This vibrant musical journey will be led by German conductor Christian Schumann, a modern and versatile artist acclaimed for his exceptional talents and innovative approach.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A multitalented conductor of the younger generation, Schumann has quickly established himself as a global sensation, excelling not only as an opera and concert conductor, but also as a composer and arranger. Recognised as a leading authority in contemporary and film music, Schumman\u2019s portfolio includes projects that blend video game scores, jazz, and modern electronic music. His dynamic versatility makes him the perfect choice to lead this year\u2019s festive Philharmonic celebratory concert.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For years, the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra has been traditionally treating its audience with unique year-end performances, always filled with outstanding music and an upbeat atmosphere.
