After a fifteen-minute standing ovation, he addressed the audience:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201eLadies and gentlemen, I have been coming to your great country for many, many years. I can tell you, after conducting all the great orchestras of the world, this is one of the best.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don&#8217;t underestimate them, and we will all wait for the new Hall, which I have seen the plans for \u2013 it all looks good. Let&#8217;s wait and expect your government and other governments to support us, and all the best.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I hope to come to Serbia soon.\u201c<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With these words, the great Zubin Mehta concluded last night&#8217;s concert with the Belgrade Philharmonic (October 12th 2024).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The incomparable Maestro, one of the greatest conductors of all time, performed together with theBelgrade Philharmonic for the fifteenth and sixteenth time this October, as the Philharmonic belongs to a select circle of orchestras he particularly prefers to collaborate with. On this occasion, the Maestro also had the opportunity to meet the architect Amanda Levete, the author of the design for the Belgrade Philharmonic<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> new concert hall.
