Our series of concerts for younger schoolchildren (from grades I to IV of primary school) will be held at the Belgrade Philharmonic’s Hall, on weekdays, from 16-27 March 2020, beginning at 10 a.m. and 12 noon.
This year, the entire music world is marking the 250th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven, one of the most significant figures in music history. The Belgrade Philharmonic has conceived its entire 2019-2020 concert season accordingly. This spring we are launching a new children’s project The Immortal Beethoven, with screenplay written by Timothy John Byford, celebrated director, screenwriter and actor, author of beloved children’s TV series Neven and Poletarac, who has dedicated this text to Belgrade Philharmonic Director Ivan Tasovac, who will play the part of the famous composer on stage, backed by the Belgrade Philharmonic.
In addition to the script that will take us on a journey through Beethoven’s life and creative opus, the children will listen to excerpts of his most famous symphonies, concerts, and music for solo piano. The duration of the concert is 45 minutes.
Ticket price is RSD 300. For individual visits, tickets are sold at the Belgrade Philharmonic Ticket Office 15 minutes before concerts. For organised group visits of school children, please contact as by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or ring us at +381112623184.
