Stana Krstajić, principal
Orchestra member since 2002
I take special pride in the accomplishments of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, in my excellent cooperation with the colleagues, soloists, conductors… I am proud of the orchestra’s humanitarian and enlightening efforts. I am proud of having been chosen in 2003 to promote the Pearl flutes worldwide and of playing this amazing instrument today. I am also proud of having performed with many remarkable artists as a soloist, orchestral and chamber musician, and of the works dedicated to me by many composers. I take pride in my chamber ensembles in the country and abroad, which have survived for a long time, against all odds. I am proud of being able to engage in humanitarian work and of my several published recordings.
I am happy to have a lovely family and two charming nieces – Dunja and Katja Kalamir. I am pleased to be able to play music with my many friends and content for having friends all around the world.
