BELGRADE PHILHARMONIC FOUNDATION "ZUBIN MEHTA"

Languages

In addition to corporate philanthropy, the work of the Belgrade Philharmonic Foundation and the revival of the long tradition of patronage and charitable trusts in Serbia that it advocates rely strongly on individual donations.

The first donations by private individuals were made during the gala concert given on 28 April 2004, on the occasion of the establishment of the Belgrade Philharmonic Foundation. This practice continued through the project of the VIP Club, whose members were both companies and private donors. According to the Rules on Donorship, private donors are grouped into nine different categories, graded from admirers to patrons, depending on the values of their donations, which can range from a minimum of RSD 100 to more than RSD 25,000,000.

In the spirit of genuine philanthropy, despite the privileges and rights they are granted, the donors wish to remain anonymous in most of the cases.
