Children from 48 Serbian towns answered our question.

The evaluation of received literary works in the competition for the best writing on the topic “What Exactly Is a Philarmonic” is now underway. The Evaluation Committee is chaired by writer Ivana Dimić and also includes Director of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra Ivan Tasovac, programme organisation staff Danica Maksimović, Jelena Milašinović, Asja Radonjić, as well as orchestra members Slavica Perić and Tamara Marinković Tomić, who will be selecting the most beautiful 500 literary works written primary school pupils from grades I-IV, from all over the country.

From 48 towns across Serbia, as well as from Montenegro, we received answers to our question “What Exactly Is a Philharmonic”, which abound with children’s brilliant and witty observations. The writings came to the Belgrade Philharmonic’s address from places like Bajmok, Prilužje, Jadranska Lešnica, Veliki Izvor near Halovo and many others.

On 1 October, the Belgrade Philharmonic will announce the names of the 500 little authors who will be rewarded with the Philharmonic Backpack, which includes, among other things, “My First Classical Music CD” recorded and published by the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra.
